The U.S. Embassy is proud to announce the opening of competition for the 2014-2015 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, part of the prestigious Fulbright Student Program, sends accomplished mid-career Yemeni professionals seeking advanced training, study, and networking to the U.S. for an all-expenses-paid, one-year program consisting of graduate-level, non-degree academic coursework and professional development activities.
The Humphrey Fellows study in outstanding U.S. universities. Each university boasts the top-notch institutional resources and provides high levels of support and guidance to the participants. Each campus has a designated faculty coordinator for academic and administrative support, assisting Fellows in pursuing balanced their academic, professional, and personal lives while on the program. Working alongside professional peers, Humphrey fellows will develop independent projects, take courses, take on professional internships, network with U.S. and international counterparts, and attend workshops and conferences.
Fellowships are awarded competitively based upon professional qualifications, leadership potential, and commitment to public service.
